At Ivy Counselling and Psychotherapy we provide a warm, safe place for individuals and couples to explore and overcome any difficulties they may be experiencing, both in person and online. This supportive, non-judgemental environment allows clients to achieve their individual goals.
People choose to come to counselling and psychotherapy for a number of different reasons. You may come to therapy with one particular issue that you wish to address. Alternatively you may be feeling overwhelmed with the many challenges of modern life and unsure of where to begin. Perhaps you and your partner would benefit from a neutral ear, supporting you both to air any issues that are affecting your relationship.
Our fully qualified and accredited therapists offer an integrative approach which is tailored to each individual or couple. While person-centred therapy underpins our philosophy, we incorporate many approaches into our integrative way of working, such as psychodynamic, CBT, family systems, psychosynthesis and yoga-informed trauma therapy.
We work with a broad range of issues such as anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, abuse, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, sexuality, self-esteem, eating disorders and many more.
We believe that no one approach suits every client. As such, we tailor a specific approach to each individual or couple, working collaboratively to find the best way for you. At the heart of successful therapy is the relationship between client and therapist. This is always at the core of our practice at Ivy Counselling and Psychotherapy.
